From Belfast:

From the main A2 road to Bangor from Holywood, continue until you see the Vauxhall Garage on your left. Turn left at the next traffic lights towards Crawfordsburn Village.

Continue through the village and you will approach Bangor shortly afterwards. Keep a look out for a church on the right and take the first turn on the left about 50metres after the church. This is Killaire Avenue. Carnalea Cottage is at number 18, about 125metres along on your right hand side.

From Bangor Town centre:

From Bangor Town Centre go down Main Street to the bottom of the hill and, at the traffic lights, turn left. Continue along (Queen's Parade) and up Gray's Hill towards the mini roundabout. Immediately before it, turn right into Princetown Road and continue along it to the end, where you will be at a roundabout-type junction. Go right from this junction and continue through two mini roundabouts. After the second of these, continue for about 500 metres, past the right turn for Carnalea Golf Club and take the next road on your right after the traffic island in the middle of the road. This is Killaire Avenue and Carnalea Cottage is at number 18, about 125 metres along on your right hand side.
